Data Security
Empower Up takes your data security seriously. We use the US Department of Defense 5220-22.M Standard Wipe on all hard drives that are large enough for reuse (40 GB and larger). Any drive that posts any error during the wipe process is physically destroyed by grinding. All drives of less than 40 GB are physically destroyed by grinding.
