How to Volunteer

If you are volunteering for the first time, or with a group of volunteers that want to come in for a temporary project, please call the Empower Up office at 360-735-0888, or email the Volunteer Program Manager, to discuss current volunteer opportunities. There are a limited number of daily volunteer slots for each task.

We require that volunteers be age 16 or older. We may request that an adult be present with any volunteers under 18.

After planning your volunteer time and attending an orientation session with Empower Up staff, you will need to schedule your time on the Volunteer Up system. This is so that we can assure your volunteer position for the day. We use this system to track volunteer hours. If you need a report of your hours, be sure to ask a staff member for assistance.

For more detailed information about volunteering, please check out our Volunteer Wiki.
